Wilhelmina wanted to do a winter festive piece. First she painted the background purple and blue and then we added a snowflake stencil. She went back to work and painted the snowflake white and silver and at the end, I sprinkled on a little glitter before the paint dried just to give it that snowy shimmer!
I decided to present the sloths with Autumn colors as we get ready to welcome the new season. Enzo and Zuri each painted their abstract art with the colors given.
This piece features thick brush strokes in varying luscious greens, with a hint of yellow and blue, and accented with metallic gold. This is the first painting Margaux has completed since losing her hearing, but she adjusted perfectly!
What started as an autumn theme quickly spun into salsa in a blender… bursting with fun, vibrant colors. If you look closely, you may even spot a little goldfish in the corner, a happy survivor from the very first brushstrokes, now wearing a red barrette and standing on his nose.
