United in Peace

Swirls of lemony yellow and lime green boogie around a peace sign, splashed with ocean blue like a peace-loving seagull’s footprint. The orange backdrop sings of a tropical dawn, embracing the symbol that whispers ‘world peace’ with each brushstroke. It’s a merry canvas where color celebrates harmony!

Description

We had an idea to do a peace sign stencil. It was more challenging than we thought because the stencil had to have so many parts. Wilhelmina painted bright yellow and orange as a background (we wanted a 60s hippy vibe for the background). Leonard skillfully painted around the stencil in shades of blue and green to make the peace sign look like the earth. The result is a beautiful piece of art that represents our wish for peace around the world.

Additional information

About Leonard

Leonard has been painting for over 4 years. He stays busy with all kinds of trick training and holds three Guinness World Records. He also loves to travel and has visited all 50 US states, Canada and Puerto Rico!

About Wilhelmina

Wilhelmina is a long coat German Shepherd who turned 3 in January. She learnt to paint very early in her life and completed her first painting at just 4 months of age. She is the great niece of Kaiserin (the Tripawd dog who is the reason for this whole event) so art runs in her blood. Wilhelmina is also a trick dog champion who does plenty of fun tricks like playing jenga and basketball and stacking rings. She enjoys cuddling on the sofa when not busy painting and loves her big brother Schultz more than anything in the world.
