FROM CODY: We decided on an “Under the Sea” theme! To capture the spirit of the ocean, Cody started with some metallic silver swipes with his signature “Hole-y Roller” over a bubbly, navy-blue background. He then added some fat splashes of brilliant blue and tropical turquoise!

About Cody:

Cody started painting in 2022, just a few months before his 10th birthday. His owner Jessi has always been an artist, and one day decided to involve Cody in the art process after he expressed boredom during one of her painting sessions. Cody took the brush from her and never looked back! His art career took off immediately and the advancement of his artistic skill was rapid – he soon was selling his paintings to buyers around the world, taking commissions, getting invites to participate in special projects and collaborations – including the Tripawds Dog Art Auction of 2023! Cody is back for his second year in this auction.
About Nellie:

Nellie is a part-time dog painter, full-time working girl representative for the Tripawds Community. Her formal education was through the Teach Your Dog to Paint Video Course, which she completed in Spring 2022. Since then she has had her paw on at least a dozen different paintings of every size, and even completed a series painted on birch tree cuttings. Most recently two of her paintings sold for over $50 at a local community auction. This year while living in Alaska, she collaborated with her pal Cody, located in British Columbia just down the road. As you can see it was a successful partnership that shows the power of transcending international borders.
