Description

Carmine began his painting career in 2019 by painting fun wooden shapes, such as Easter eggs and Fall Leaves. He’s been busy with other pursuits, and we’ve missed painting! So Carmine agreed to take time from his AKC Obedience Competitions to paint for Tripawds again and try a tree this time.

Painting Size: About 12 ” tall by 10 inches wide

Paint Colors: Emerald green, cranberry red, and metallic gold in loose, energetic strokes.

Materials Used: This is a flat wooden balsa wood decoration in the shape of a Christmas tree. It has been primed with Gesso and painted with acrylic paint.

About the Artist

Carmine is a 10 year old Aussie who learned to paint for a trick title in 2019 and we never stopped! Carmine is a Jackson Pollack sort of painter, HAHA! He would be quite happy throwing paint on the canvas!
Carmine is a dog of many talents. He is a champion trick dog, earning multiple trick championships, and was also the 2022 winner of the International Trick Dog Competition held by the Dog Talent Association. He went on to do AKC Rally Obedience and earned his AKC Rally Championship, along with many other titles. Carmine is now competing in AKC Obedience Competitions.
